Main Hall ('The Jubilee Hall')

This hall, originally named the Jubilee Hall in 1935, is a very large hall suitable for wedding receptions, sit down dinners, informal parties, gigs, public/private meetings, indoor activities and also has a full stage for theatre productions, concerts, dances and events.

This room is ideal for exercise, art and dance classes, as a rehearsal or studio space, for formal meetings and informal gatherings

This room is equipped with a newly installed kitchenette with single-drainer sink, fridge, microwave, urn and serving counter.
Please note that there is no disabled access to this room.
Downunder (lower hall)
Dimensions: 11m x 6m
This room is ideal for informal meetings. Indoor activities and as a small studio space
Theatre style meeting: up to 50
Classes, workshops and informal gathering: up to 25-30
Facilities include a sink, chairs and tables. An urn or kettle can be provided on request.
Please note that, owing to the steps down to this space, there is no disabled access to this room at present.
Please also note that during usual term times, this room is permanently occupied by our resident pre-school, Bluebells, and so is only available for hire during school holidays.
Kitchen and Servery
The Centre offers a large, recently refurbished and fully equipped kitchen for catering and serving refreshments.
We have an assortment of crockery and cutlery available for use by hirers. Facilities include two large stainless steel sinks with double drainer, ceramic hob, microwave, double oven and grill, urn, tall fridge-freezer, servery counter, and adjacent canteen area.
